MC and Hosting Skills for Improvisers: 14th April
Hosting is the hidden engine of a great improv show. Being funny onstage is one thing; guiding a whole night is another. The approach a stand-up comedian may take with an audience is often very different than the approach an improviser should take with an audience, therefore improvisers need to stand on their own two feet.
This workshop gives improvisers practical tools to host shows, events, and jams with confidence. You will practise clear intros and outros, playful audience work, and smooth transitions between acts. Participants will leave with repeatable hosting structures you can plug into any format.
Participants will receive individual feedback. Bring a notepad and pen!
Workshop runs from 7pm to 10pm on Tuesday 14th April. Class size strictly capped to maximise participant engagement.
