About the Neil+1 Show
Neil first performed Neil+1 in 2012 and has performed in countless shows with random audience members around the world ever since. The audience guest is not an actor or improviser, just a regular person! No training or guidance is given to the audience member, and therefore the responsibility to make the show “work” falls solely on Neil. That means knowing how to work with partners who range from resist or “messing” with the show, to those who go with it but have no idea what they are doing. Performing with inexperienced participants is a high risk/high reward concept, allowing from sometimes larger than life moments of comedy and drama.
Eligibility
Participants must have completed level 2 or equivalent elsewhere, or already have performing experience. Class size is capped to maximise scene and stage time for participants.
