13/June/2024Workshop: Turning Scenes In To Shows
14/June/2024Scene Work: Less Search & More Efficiency with Dan McCormack
This workshop is part of the Scene Stealers workshop series.
You don't need a flashlight and a packed lunch to figure out what a scene is about or what it needs. At the heart of all great improv, regardless of format, is excellent scene work. Yet, for many improvisers, the search to uncover a scene's meaning can feel like a struggle, often sapping the fun out of the process.
Join veteran improviser Dan McCormack in this transformative workshop as he guides you through the art of effortless discovery in scenes. Learn how to tap into the essence of a scene without the hard work, bringing more joy and spontaneity back into your performances.
This workshop is part of a 3 part series facilitated by Dan McCormack and Neil Curran. Workshops can be taken separately or as part of a discounted package for all three here.
When and Where
The workshop takes place on Tuesday 18th June, from 7pm to 9:45pm in the Teachers Club (36 Parnell Square West). Workshops are capped in size.
