SUMMARY:The Authentic Speaker 4 Week Evening Course – 25th Nov
DESCRIPTION:The Authentic Speaker 4 Week Evening Course\nRuns from 25th November.\nBeing an Authentic Speaker is about finding your Confidence & True Self To Fully Engage an Audience\nNo matter what our role is in an organisation, we are required to engage in presenting or confident speaking in a many contexts. From meetings, to video calls, to presenting to a room of people large and small.\nMoving away from traditional approaches to presenting and public speaking, Neil offers a unique and practical approach focussed on developing the confidence of participants, creating a safe space to step outside our comfort zone and enabling us to master the art of presenting.\n \nNo Video Cameras Will Be Used!\nYou won’t be recorded on video on this course! In face, gone are the days where we use video cameras, as this tends to focus on our perceived weaknesses. Instead the focus is on developing our strengths. Strength based training techniques empowers individuals to really own their own unique style and bring both confidence and professionalism to all their speaking engagements.\n \nYou You Want To Feel Comfortable When Presenting?\nBlending proven techniques from both business, theatre and improv, participants are provided with not just the right tools and techniques but also a greater sense of confidence in their abilities. For example, drawing on techniques of Improvisation, participants exercise skills that give confidence speaking off the cuff which gives participants a greater self awareness of their abilities speaking on script. In business there is no script!\nProgrammes can be custom designed for organisations or provided in a 1to1 coaching session.  Each programme is tailored for the group and individuals taking part recognising that we all learn in different ways and there are no off the shelf fixes.\n \nWhy use Improv as a Tool?\nImprov promotes a fun and supportive learning environment, removing the stress we associate with public speaking and presenting. It’s highly effective and promotes self awareness with learning. Our ability to be comfortable and in control when speaking off the cuff, helps solidify our confidence when we have time to rehearse and practice.\n \nCourse Topics\n\n* Being Authentic\n* Communication Skills & Body Language\n* Storytelling\n* Power & Status\n* Being an Effective Influencer\n* Executive Presence\n* Owning a Room and Reading the Audience\n* Impromptu Speaking\n* Using Technology to your Advantage\n\n \nUpcoming Public Course – 4 Monday Evenings from 25th November 2024\n\n25th November\n2nd December\n9th December\n\n16th December\nEach class runs from 7pm to 9:30pm\n.\nVenue\nTeacher’s Club Theatre (Club na Múinteoirí) ( https://clubnamuinteoiri.com )\n36 Parnell Square West\nDublin 1\nD01 T6V6\nCourse Cost:  €245\n \nOptional 1to1 Coaching Sessions\n1to1 Coaching is also available for individuals who want extra guidance, from C-Suite level, to those preparing a pitch, to those preparing to present for the first time.  This offers an intensive yet hugely productive setting to really enhance and refine your presenting skills.
