SUMMARY:TJ & Dave – Dublin Workshop
DESCRIPTION:TJ & Dave are back in Dublin this September performing at Smock Alley Theatre, and I’m pleased to share that they are also running a one-off workshop on Monday 2nd September from 6pm to 9:30pm in the Teachers Club.\nTJ Jagodowski and Dave Pasquesi are award winning improvisers who improvise a one-hour play. They have twice won the Del Close Award for Best Improvised Show, the Nightlife Awards New York for best comedy performance, the Chicago Improv Festival Improvisers of the Year award, and the Chicago Reader Best Improvised Show award. TJ and Dave are also authors of “Improvisation at the Speed of Life”.\nTheir world famous shows are one of the finest demonstrations of improvised theatre with their grounded character, deep relationships and seamless narrative.\nThis workshop is for improvisers who want to learn from TJ and Dave. There are two options for attending the workshop:\n \n\nOption 1:  Full Workshop Participant – €55  (Max 16 participants)\n\nFor this option, it involves full participation in the workshop (including scene-work etc) with feedback from TJ & Dave.\n\nOption 2:  Audience Spectator – €40\n\nWith this option, you sit in the audience as an observer only. There is no active participation on stage with this option. However, audience members will benefit from observing TJ & Dave’s teaching and workshop discussion.\n \n“TJ Jagodowski and Dave Pasquesi miraculously improvise a one-hour play at every performance. This is an impressive feat of mental athletics, but the results are also observant, complex and frequently enormously funny.” – The New York Times.\n“BRILLIANT, HEARTBREAKING, MIND-BLOWING, INSPIRING! The best 50 minutes of improv comedy that we’ve ever seen.” – Time Out New York.\n
