In Late 2012, I set up a new theatre and production company, Chicken & Fox Productions as a platform to produce original works and showcase up and coming talent on Irish stages. Our first event took place in December, Sad Sods At Christmas. I’m excited to announce our first major production which runs from 7th – 9th February..
Chicken and Fox Productions present:
“Darkness & Light”
2 Original One Act Plays
“All Fall Down” by Ciaran Murphy
“Sprinting Towards the Light” by Erin Hug
February 7th – 9th
Mill Theatre Studio, Dundrum
“All Fall Down” by Ciaran Murphy; a Waterford Native, examines the reality of home care in modern Ireland. Conor is dependent on the care of his older sister Eva, an untrained carer. Has the system failed them? What help is out there? This production examines the deep undercurrents and strain on this sibling relationship.
Directed by Neil Curran
“Sprinting Toward The Light” was written by Erin Hug, with American origins, now living in Ireland. What if you’re not the person your friends think you are? Alice, Jack and Robin have been friends since school and they meet up in their late 20’s oblivious to the fact they are no longer as close as they were and their relationships have become more complicated. Will they achieve their goals in life?
Directed by Erin Hug
