I’m pleased to offer Improv Scholarships in memory of the late, great Jason Chin.
Jason was a key player in the iO Theatre in Chicago and touched the hearts of all who met him. Jason played a pivotal role in my improv development and I continue to share some of this teachings and his spirit with my own students to this day.

The Scholarship: Includes the full cost of the Level 1 through Level 4 courses.

Criteria: The Scholarships are open to people who are new to the improv community with no prior improv training. Applicants who have a story to tell about wanting to overcome barriers in their lives are greatly encouraged. Applicants must apply via email to neil[at]lowerthetone.com. The Scholarship application process closes 30 days prior to the commencement of each Level 1 course.

In return successful scholars are invited to write a blog about their experience with taking improv.
